Imagine !!! VillageStar Center: I've been working on an idea (preliminary) to promote Celestial Art and Astronomy using more appealing concepts to attract people from all walks of life. The center will be a cultural center for a large metropolitan area, offering (indoor/outdoor) concerts, special events, educational activities, weekly radio shows...ect. Inside the Saturn like building will be an art gallery for Celestial & astronomy related artwork. There will be an area dedicated to sculptures and what I call my Mechanical Universe art. (the physics of art in motion). In the center of the semi-dome will be another semi-dome which will house a Planetarium featuring state-of-the-art special effects. The seating will be below the main floor. Contact me for more detailed information & layouts.
Under the dome arena will house areas for business conventions and special activities. One large room will have up to 2000 seats for small to medium size concerts. These concerts can be on syndicated radio and feature classical, contemporary, folk , blues and comedy venues. During the summer months, outside large concerts can be held, using large tents and building a stage under the Saturn rings. The rings could also be fitted with acoustic reflectors to distribute the sound to possibly up to 15000 people. At night the Center will be lit up light a celestial planet and become if not the main attraction or a city then at least one of the main attractions. The outside grounds will also have walk trails with gardens and exploratory areas. Mass transportation and several types of eateries will be offered.

The building will orientated to Celestial points of the hemisphere. Hence the rings will be orientated to the sky ecliptic and the north point of the planet dome will be pointing to the north star. (northern city). There will be markers to let guided sunlight mark off the Summer/winter solstices & equinoxes. Inside will be art work that will be activated by special celestial events. There also could be activities for birthdays with party rooms and information on events on their birthdays..ect.

This center is a community center with celestial theme. It offers insight to astronomy & physics without going into the technical aspects. thought the information will be there. Much much more...!!!!
