Brief Biography on Alex

Alex has been an amateur astronomer observer for nearly 15 years before he started painting the heavens. He has spent hundreds of hours viewing the night sky with his collection of quality telescopes. With his knowledge in physics and creative instincts, he passionately shares his vision with beautiful paintings that provoke creative & spiritual thoughts for the home, office or museum.

Alex obtained a degree in physics and worked as an engineer for nearly 11 years. He spent the last 10 years teaching physics, technology and astronomy to high school students. It was during this time he began to explore the idea of painting the Universe not from a reality point of view but from the point of view of motion and spiritual thought! Most of his paintings are oil on board/canvas while his planet paintings of Jupiter are watercolor & pencil on paper. Commissions are welcome for paintings covering up to 64 sqft. The paintings provoke creative and spiritual thoughts to reflect on the philosophical awareness that sometimes is missing in routine living.

Personal Objective: It is my goal to promote the wonders, motion, and spiritual connection of the Universe through my paintings. I feel my work in this area is just beginning and I plan to make a significant contribution to this type of artwork.
