What are DingleDorfs?

The idea of a DingleDorf came from 2 inspirations. First, I considered the bosses I worked for over the years as DingleDorfs. 2nd, it was obvious that our culture has a love for wearing baseball caps. So presto...I created an animated silly group of ball caps called the DingleDorfs. Since then they have evolved into a life force of their own. The tale on how these ball caps became living lovable beings is this. One night an alien spaceship accidently dropped off a box of living Cyber-Fiber spools at the wrong planet (earth). By chance or fate they were left at a ball cap factory near Cincinnati Ohio. The management accidently used the spools to weave the caps. The first few came out too stretchy & rubbery and were rejected by quality control and thrown into the dumpster. That night, 7 weird looking things crawled out of that smelly dumpster only to begin their plague to disrupt our normal life. They had names like Strike, Yokie, Nutsy, Finder (Gal), Tweeter and another gal named Jewelry. The world must struggle to find ways to get-along with this new life form. They are playful, funny, travel world-wide, and are curious about learning new things. Their adventures will include mystery tales, fighting weird evil doers all in a story unlike any other written before. Their stories will be a mix of educational content and tolerable weirdness.

	Meet Strike, he has trouble hitting the ball but when he does, it's usally a homer. He's fast and a bit nervous. He was the first DingleDorf. He lacks confidence and needs the other DingleDorfs and you to help build up his confidence. Kids can help him find ways to feel better about himself. Otherwise he's an easy-go-lucky type. He never plans anything which creates problems. He is a full time student at DingelDorf University as a Phys-Ed major.
	Meet Yokie he's a slow pokie! He's Strike's best friend and roommate. Together they are the odd couple of the DingleDorf world. Yokie is an over confident Dorf and is logical about the decisions he makes. He's an education major in college.
	Meet Jewelry, She adores jewels and runs her own little business selling everything and anything. She's trying to improve her customer service skills. She flops at trying give motivational speeches. She's terrible with her math.
	Meet Tweet, He's the musician, who loves music from the 60's and classical music. His shyness conflicts with his stage performance. He's very forgetful and is trying to invent ways to improve his memory.
	Meet Nustsy, Like they say, there's one in every crowd. He can be arrogant and act stupid. But actually, he's very intelligent with a slight speech impediment. His unusual strength is a great resource when the DingleDorfs get into trouble. He is also good at fixing things. He's contantly chasing a fly we can see but he can't.
	Meet Finder (the Tom-Boy), She is the explorer, the scientist and the detective! She is searching and accumulating the wisdom of the ages. When the DingleDorfs are in trouble, they call on her to find a way out.
	Meet Quicksand, the fastest shot (photo) in the west ! There's mysterious magic in his camera. It can take pictures of things we normal can't see. His camera is time machine allowing the DingleDorfs to venture into unknown where they uncover mysteries of the past and search for historical truth.
	Meet Doctor DingleDorf, he is the space-shot who never seems to know what is going on. He's on the outer fringe of the DingleDorf society and struggles to fit in.
	TwinkleDorfs !!! TwinkleDorfs are the little fury characters you see mixing in with the DingleDorfs everywhere they go. They are parasites who go along for the ride and annoy the DingleDorfs in a similar way the DingleDorfs annoy us. Because of their small size, they carry around color coded flags to identify themselves.
